Hi, Interns!

Welcome to the CCSRE Summer Internship 2007 Blog! I hope that you are excited to begin your summer interships, especially because you are all interning at such interesting places and will be doing some really important work. In past years, we've required interns to keep a daily journal of their internship experiences to turn in at the end of the summer. We've realized, though, that it's much more productive and fun to share your experiences--both mundane and impactful--with each other throughout the summer. Making your stories, struggles, and achievements a collective experience we all share in and comment on and discuss is really also what CCSRE is about: community. (And, really, blogging makes it a lot easier to stay on top of the writing requirement!) So, please take a few minutes each day or every other day to post some reflections on your projects, and please do respond to other people's posts as well. Your posts can be as formal, informal, or creative as you would like--just put some thought into them. I can't wait to start reading your posts!
